Celebrating SCP’s 4th Anniversary!
Happy Anniversary, Secret Cravings!
It’s been a while since I’ve posted on my blog, and I’ll tell you why–I’ve been simply fixing my life. I’ve been living with a lot of chaos, but now things are finally falling into place. I lost forty-five pounds, got healthy, moved into a new town home with my boyfriend (well, now fiancé), and yes, GOT ENGAGED! It’s been crazy, but I’m slowly coming back into the writing world.
I figured a great way to come back would be with a celebration and giveaway for my publisher! As a debut author, I had a difficult time finding a publisher who would give a newbie like me a chance. I would get rejection letters all with the 
same response. Something along the lines of “We loved the story, but we don’t think it’s what would sell right now.” I was so upset. It wasn’t what sold? It was too original so it was rejected? It didn’t make sense to me. But Secret Cravings saw something in His Haven and embraced the originality. They encouraged the unique. They welcomed me and my words. And after His Haven was published and with weeks on the best sellers list, the readers seemed to welcome them, too.
Throughout my year signed with SCP, I’ve seen the company grow tremendously. My book is offered in many different formats and in stores. I am thankful to have had my start with SCP.
To celebrate SCP’s 4th Anniversary, I’m giving away a print copy of His Haven and a 
handmade His Haven key chain!
Who knows. Maybe I’ll even throw in some bookswag, too.

I know what you mean about real world chaos muting the muse. I’ve made a New Years resolution to unclutter my to do list so my characters have more freedom to play. It takes a lot of my time. Congrats and good luck. Happy birthday, SCP!
